Sisters of the Harvest Moon (SHM) is a non-Greek sorority with an agricultural background here at Purdue University. We are a small sorority and currently do not have a house on campus. We are affiliated with Farmhouse Fraternity and include them in some of our activities and social functions throughout the year. Although we are agriculturally based, an agriculture background is not necessary.
Each semester we have many social functions and sisterhood activities that include barn dances, formals, philanthropies and a hog roast. We also participate in community service and philanthropies around the community and campus. Some of which include Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Bowl for Kids Sake and many more. SHM provides a wonderful sisterhood of support throughout college as well as opportunities for networking, help in classes and social activities.
Come out to one of our Fall Rush activities and see what SHM has to offer you!
